~Testimonials from Loving Dog Owners~
We have had many Happy Puppy Buyers Over the years...I have not kept photos and statements from all of them but below are some that I have saved. This page is a "work in progress" and I will be adding to it as people contact me. I have had the wonderful opportunity to form strong BONDS with many of our puppy families. I have also had the pleasure of following some of you & your puppies on Social Media, FaceBook and Instagram. Love the Journey. This makes what I do worth the efforts and keeps me doing what I LOVE.
Look at Theo. He's gorgeous and growing. He's walking 2.7 miles every
morning and eating like a champ. He stayed in the house on 1/2 while we went to
the Rose Bowl game for 8 hrs. no accidents, just a page of the LA Times shredded
(probably didn't like the article). He's such a good boy.
Hope you're doing well, and life getting back to normal. I can't tell you how happy
we are!
Lots of love to you.

"decisions my boyfriend and I could have made! I have stayed in touch with a few of my pups siblings owners and all these dogs are such happy, spunky, loving dogs. I get compliments anytime I take my dog out anywhere on his beauty, and his good behavior. Amy and her family were so wonderful"
"through out the entire process and I would get another puppy from them come"

Hi Amy!

My fiancé and I were fortunate enough to find MMFR Golden Retrievers! We are from up north about 8 hours away and found Amy and her beautiful Goldens on puppyfind.com. We describe our puppy as love at first sight! Ace was only 12 days old and the second we saw him, we knew he was ours. From 12 days old all the way up to 8 weeks, Amy sent us weekly photos and gave us a breakdown of the week and how he was progressing. We would look forward to that email every week!! Once the day came to pick up our boy, we drove down immediately!  Ace is such a fun, loving, handsome boy! We literally get stopped everywhere we go with him and they can't believe how beautiful he is. He is a spinning image of his dad, Wallace! Ace has brought so much love and laughter into our lives! We are so grateful for him, and MMFR!

Good afternoon Amy,
I hope all is well with you and your family! I wanted to send you an update on how Reba is doing, we’ve had her now for 5 weeks. We named her Charlie after the Disney TV show Good Luck Charlie that our daughter use to watch, it just kind of fit. Charlie is growing like a weed and doing awesome! She is such a sweet dog, we have never had a puppy like her before, just so easy going! She is almost fully potty trained except for an accident here or there and has learned to sit and to stay for short periods of time. We have continued with kennel training and when she’s tired she’ll go in the kennel and nap and return when she’s ready play again. At night or when we’re not home we do lock her in there but we say “kennel” and she goes right in. Charlie loves chasing her fur sister Mimi and has learned to fetch balls pretty quickly.
The Vet and staff that we take our dogs to we’re just amazed with her disposition on from her very first visit. One of the techs even said she was so cute she should be in commercials!
We are just so very happy to have Charlie in our lives and she has been just the best dog we’ve owned at this age. You did such a wonderful job in your breeding and your practices while you’re preparing them for their forever homes. We cannot thank you enough for how easy of a puppy she has been and she isn’t our first Golden. Sorry but this is the only recent picture I have of Charlie on my phone I will send more later.
Thank you again and we hope you have a Merry Christmas and enjoy the picture of Charlie and Mimi.

Hi Amy,

I hope you are doing well and had a happy holiday season! I just wanted to send you some updated pictures of Otis. He went on his first hike yesterday in Idyllwild and saw his first snow. He loved it so much! He also started puppy training classes and has a new best friend, an Australian Shepherd named Levi. We take him everywhere with us (coffee shops, Target, Marshalls, etc.) and everyone he meets falls in love with him. He is such a good boy! He is a very happy puppy and it’s hard to remember what our family was like before we got him. It seems like he has been a part of our family forever.

Hello there,
It’s been a while, hope everyone is doing well.
We can’t thank you enough for wonderful Maddie and Myla and other loving Golden Retrievers for other families.
Only one sentence to describe Miss Myla is “ God was showing off when he created Myla”.
Our veterinarian also said Myla is exceptional. Myla is the real Golden retriever who is smart, mellow, and always willing to please the owner. She absolutely comes from a great blood line.
Thank you again for what you do. You do bring joys to many families, Amy.

Hi Amy!
Just wanted to send you a few pictures of Charlie growing over the last 4 months. He’s just over six months and is the SWEETEST boy EVER! Whenever anyone sneezes he runs over to make sure they’re okay, if dogs are barking while out on walks he stops to make sure everything is okay and he is such a cuddler. His favorite things are to chase after leaves in the wind, find sticks on our walks to bring home, chase his tail and also dig! Such a dog ;)
He is really the best boy and we are so over the moon in love with him. Hope things are going well for you!

Hi Amy,

Just wanted to keep you posted on Rosie. She is doing so good! She is getting huge and she is so sweet! Everywhere we take her she gets attention from everyone! She is such a wonderful pup. She loves people and other dogs. She’s super friendly! Today was her first day at the beach and she absolutely loved it! She has graduated from her puppy class and potty training is going well. She hardly has accidents now. She is super smart. She has brought so much happiness into our lives. I love her so much. Buster and her are inseparable. They get along so well. Before Rosie, Buster was very mellow and never played, now they play every single day and cuddle. He protects her and is always on the lookout for her when she is playing with other dogs and he thinks they’re hurting her. Thank you so much for her. She is such a wonderful puppy!

She is 35 lbs!!!

Hi Amy!

It's been four months now since we picked up our puppy. We think of you and MMFR Goldens often and we frequently share our extremely positive breeder experience with everyone who inquires. Lucy is now six months old and we wanted to take this opportunity to share with you an update as to how she is developing. She is everything that we hoped she would be and exhibits all the positive traits common to her breed. She is a healthy, very affectionate, gentle, yet active little girl who loves the outdoors, and everyone and everything she encounters, particularly children and other dogs. She is a quick learner and was house broken very early, learning how to rattle the string of bells hung on our back door letting us know she wants out after only one lesson! She recently completed dog obedience class and is a real joy on the leash and around other people which is great as she accompanies us most everywhere that we go.

We couldn't be more pleased with this puppy that MMFR has provided us. Lucy is a great companion and a wonderful addition to our family. Thanks again Amy!

Dear Amy,

I just wanted to drop you a note to tell you how much we love Archer. He is an absolutely amazing dog! At eleven weeks, he weight 23 lbs!. He’s not only large, though. He is also mature. We’ve been able to teach him so much! A couple times a day, I ask him if he wants to “go to school,” and I teach him a new behavior and reinforce already-learned ones. He’s house-trained, knows his name, comes when called, can “sit,” “lie down,” and “stay,” and he rings a bell by the slider when he wants to go outside. He’s also getting awfully good on a leash. To me, he seems unbelievably intelligent.

You deserve so much credit for the care you gave to him. It’s very obvious he was raised by an attentive mama who socialized him and gave him lots of love. Thank you!

He seems SO happy here. He’s confident, curious, and playful. To my astonishment, he’s also quite well-behaved. If there is a brief moment where he’s left alone in a room, I usually return to find him playing with one of his toys. He loves being with us, but he’s also got an independent streak that is quite endearing. Yep, I think he’s pretty much perfect.

By the way, his favorite toy is the bird you gave to him when he came home with us. We also use the leash and collar you gave to him. I like the reminders of your wonderful care.

Well, I just wanted you to know how lucky we feel to have him, and that he’s getting daily overdoses of love. We feel like every day is Christmas because when we awake in the morning, we rush to see him in his warm kennel in the kitchen. (Very shortly, we’ll trust him to sleep next to my side of the bed in our own bedroom.)

Thank you, Amy. I will always feel indebted to you for your kindness to me, and for your amazing, kind, loving care of your puppies, especially Archie.

Very sincerely,

Gil, Carol, and family

Hi Amy - I wanted to share these pictures my friend took of Sammy this last week. He is definitely photogenic! All is going well with him. He starts puppy training tomorrow. Hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas!

Hi, Amy -

In short, Kennedy is doing incredibly well. She is smart, funny (though she doesn't know it!), and so wonderfully loving. When she plays with other pups or meets new people, all she wants to do is hug them (AKA jump up, which we are working on getting her to stop doing, ha) and kiss them (which is fine - who doesn't love puppy licks?!) and as such, has become a beloved member of the Downtown Los Angeles community. Everyone remembers her, looks forward to seeing her, and asks us where she is if we're out and about without her. Kennedy is BFFs with her dog walker, Tami, and absolutely loves getting to go on walks or to the dog park during the week to see all of her doggy friends while we're at work. And her favorite part of the week is our Saturday or Sunday morning family hikes where she gets to spend a few hours outside with us, getting great exercise and fresh air, and of course, chewing on every single stick and/or leaf in sight!

Kennedy really enjoys playing chase (where she wants mom & dad to run after her) and tug-of-war, but her absolute favorite thing to do is just be pet while we are lounging around the house. She also has come to love car rides -- we had a few months there where she was incredibly nervous when getting in the car, but she has since come to love sticking her head out the window and smiling at people in other cars who wave to her.

The last eight months have been a dream, and it's honestly hard for us to remember what life was like pre-Kennedy (although we vaguely remember something called sleeping in...??). We cannot believe it's just two short months until she turns one, and oh my goodness are we going to celebrate big time. In the meantime, we are so excited for her first Christmas (and Santa already put some new treats and toys in her personalized stocking!!).

HI Amy,

Hope all is well, We wanted to send you an update.
Dakota is a smart girl, and has taken well to her crate, and going potty outside, rarely makes any accidents inside. We just adore her, and she such a sweet heart. She does get fired up and goes puppy crazy, and is very mouthy and bouncy. She is learning slowly that during play time Mom and Dad are not chew toys. So she is learning. She is also learning new commands and is already doing well with SIT, DOWN, and STAY. We got her a puzzle toy that she already has nailed down, she needs something harder to do.
We have taken her on short walks around the house, and she is meeting the neighbors. She is the star of the show when people and dogs see her,
She weighted in at 12lbs this weekend, and is growing like a weed.
She's a very photogenic puppy too, she has Stella and Emmett's good looks!! Her pictures are just to much some times.
She got to meet Santa this weekend, and pose in her ELF outfit in front of the tree.
All is good! You can follow her on Instagram at @goldendakotarose

Happy Holidays!!

Thank you,

Eric, Tiffany and Dakota!!

Hi Amy,

Just wanted to send you some pics of our little Tucker and thank you! He is the best dog we have ever had! He is super smart and a very quick learner. He also is the sweetest boy and so low key! I remember when we were picking we asked you which seemed the most easy going of the litter which at the time was definitely hard to tell given that they were so young. However, that’s just what our Tuck has turned out to be. People are constantly in awe of him that he is so well mannered and easy going. Well I tell people he is only 4 months I can tell they don’t really believe me given his mature temperament. He is so handsome he attracts so much attention wherever we go. We really can’t thank you enough for this amazing addition to our family. Also, we think he is going to be a really big boy. His paws are already a lot bigger than our 4 year old lab’s paws! We will keep you posted as he continues to grow. Thank you again!
